My AlmRuhSpa

The AlmRuhSpa is an area exclusively for adults (from 16 years) and has huge potential to become the ultimate favourite place in the hotel complex. Here, peace and relaxation are guaranteed. Equipped with a wonderful outdoor Sky infinity pool over the roofs of Flachau, two cosy panoramic relaxation rooms and a sun deck with a stunning view over the mountains of Flachau, here in the main ‘Tirolerhof’ building, our adult guests will find an absolute wellness area to switch off, relax and regain their strength. The popular Sauna area also forms part of the AlmRuhSpa.

My Sky Infinity Pool

The highlight of the adults-only AlmRuhSpa area is definitely the unique outdoor Sky infinity pool, heated to approx. 31°C, where you can swim a couple of lengths and reminisceon the day in the refreshing mountain air while looking out at the stunning view.

‘Swimming under a starry sky’ is a special offer for our dear guests. Our hotel guests have the opportunity to rent the Sky infinity pool and both relaxation rooms in the evenings between 20:00 and 22:00 just for themselves. The package for two people includes a bottle of Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine.

My 'Hochalm' and my 'Kräuterboden'

Those looking to relax will find the perfect haven after an intense day in Flachau in the modern and rustically furnished relaxation rooms ‘Hochalm’ and ‘Kräuterboden’. Both relaxation rooms invite you to while some time away with a cosy cup of tea or a glass of ‘Grander’ water.

My Sun Deck

An extremely beautiful place in the Tirolerhof is the new sun terrace in the AlmRuhSpa. Above the roofs of Flachau with an impressive view of the ‘Grießenkareck’, Flachau’s local mountain, letting go of everyday life is quite easy.

My ‘Sauna Dörfl’

The popular Adults-only Sauna area (from 16 years) with several cosy rooms for sweating it out forms part of the AlmRuhSpa in the main ‘Tirolerhof’ building. Your immune system will be strengthened immediately in the 90°C pine wood sauna, the gentler 70°C organic sauna and the steam bath with 100% humidity. A visit to the spacious infra-red cabin will harmonise your body and mind. At 50°C, the salt grotto will activate your self-healing powers and kick your blood circulation back into gear.

‘Sauna Dörfl’ opening times: daily 14:30 to 19:00 (on our two "recharge days" Wednesday and Sunday open until 20:30). Can be opened earlier in case of bad weather - on request.

The ‘Sauna Dörfl’ at a Glance

'Hot Zirbe'
A dry sauna with temperatures of approx. 90°C – stimulates circulation and supports the detoxification process.
Herb Organic Sauna (Saunarium)
A pleasant combination of the sauna and the steam bath. The air is somewhat more humid than in the sauna and is heated to approx. 70°C. Perfect conditions for cleansing and building up the immune system.
Steam Bath
Heated to approx. 45°C, the steam with essential aromatic oils soothes the body and soul.
Salt Grotto
At a pleasant 50°C, the fine mist blows tiny salt particles into the room. This cares for the mucous membranes and activates the self-healing powers. The high proportion of negative ions accelerates the movement of oxygen in cells and soft tissue. The salt has an anti-bacterial effect, regulates the production of sebaceous glands and restores poorly circulated skin.
Infra-Red Cabin
Healthy, pleasant warmth which strengthens the immune system, relaxes the muscles, increases blood circulation, stimulates the metabolism and relieves pain.
Solarium
Enjoy a healthy 15-minute sun-bath.
Massage Chair
Release tension quickly. Just pop in €2.00 and enjoy!

Tip for families

Guests younger than 16 years can relax alone or with family members and friends in the infra-red cabin and the cosy family textile sauna (swimwear required) right next to the indoor swimming pool in the FamilySpa. Both these facilities are to be activated by guests themselves.
