My Family Programme in Summer
Every week in summer, a diverse and adventurous entertainment programme is available for the whole family, meaning that young and old will have lots to tell people at home when their holiday is over. The guided hikes with the hotel manager and the supervised kids/youth clubs for children and teens are very popular.
During the summer holidays in July and August, children and teens from 4 to 15 years can play games, do crafts and sports with a childcare worker from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00. In June and September, childcare runs two to three times per week from 10:00 to 16:00. Upon request, children can also visit the childcare for a shorter period of time, on an hourly basis.

Relax in the Meantime
While the kids are letting off steam at the supervised kids/youth club with others their age, (grand) parents and older siblings can relax with a soothing massage or an afternoon in the dreamy AlmRuh Spa with its unique Sky infinity pool (entry from 16 years).

But you can also enjoy a relaxing time with the children in the popular Family Spa. Diving into the Panorama swimming pool together, unwinding in the pinewood relaxation room and soaking up the warmth in the infra-red cabins and the family textile sauna can be done whatever the weather – and when the sun comes back, the whole family can let off some steam on the Fun Court, directly behind the ‘Bründlhof’, with ball games such as football or basketball (balls are available to borrow free of charge from the reception). A supervised family sport get-together is held several times a week during the summer season as part of the hotel’s entertainment programme.

During the summer season, the Flachau Summer Card (free of charge in the hotel for a stay of two or more nights) includes a diverse family and activity programme with daily guided adventure hikes, (fun) sports activities, a free trip up and down the mountain with the Flachau cable car, attractive discounts with numerous partners, and much more.
My Family Programme in Winter
In winter in Flachau, skiing and snowboarding on the best-prepared pistes in the middle of Austria’s largest ski area, the Ski Amadé, mostly fill the programme. But cross-country skiing, tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and many other exciting snow adventures, such as snowbiking, riding segways and snowshoeing are also very popular in Flachau with young and old. Tirolerhof guests receive an attractive special price when booking a kids’ ski course at our partner ski school, ‘Flachau Ski School’. The assembly point for the ski course and the base station of the ‘Star Jet 1’ are just a few steps from the hotel.

Whether it’s winter or summer – a trip on the Flachau Alpine Coaster Lucky Flitzer is perfect for families looking for a thrill. The toboggan lift will take you up to the start of this unique toboggan run and then you can ride back down the rails to the valley at your own pace with 5 loops and 2 jumps.

Every evening, a tasty three-course children’s menu is available and, during the holiday season, a buffet just for children with a variety of dishes to choose from. All children can get a free drink from the juice dispenser in the restaurant area from noon.
So that the adults can end their day comfortably and relaxed with a delicious dinner, a kids’ film is shown every evening at 19:30 in the hotel’s own children’s cinema (unsupervised).
